This year’s MPTTP will take place on 31 August 2024.
Individual participants can register directly. For groups wishing to register at the same time, please contact us at the e-mail address listed on our website.
To participate in this fantastic event, teams, riders and horses must meet the set requirements (see below). It is also possible to register as an individual participant. Individual participants will be combined into teams.
The cost of participation is 50 euros per person for international participants. This includes barbecue and party night on Friday evening, including overnight stay for horse and rider.
Conditions:
Teams:
- A team consists of a minimum of four and a maximum of eight riders.
- Each team appoints a team captain.
- Each team member must be uniformed or a member of the MRV (Military Riders’ Association of the Netherlands).
- Unity of uniform is mandatory for team members.
Horses:
- Horses must be healthy and trained for a 35-km movement over terrain.
- Tack must be in order and fit properly.
- Horses will be checked for fitness at the start, rest area and finish by a vet.
Riders:
- Riders must be trained for outdoor rides of 35 km.
- Riders must have recent experience in hacking.
- If a rider rents a horse, he/she must have done at least 1 hack with that horse in the last 6 months before the event.
- Riders must be able to recognise the characteristics and behaviour of a horse to assess its condition.
Participation is at your own responsibility. The organisation is not liable for damage to horses, riders’ equipment, etc. The organisation is also not responsible for the consequences of insufficient preparation, such as the horse’s condition or equipment.
By registering for the MPTTP 2024, you automatically agree to the above conditions and the following: Once registered, the right to a refund is forfeited in case of cancellation after 1 August. Also, the organisation reserves the right to cancel the event.
